The motocross world is grieving after tragic news from Spain: 17-year-old Enzo Badenas has died following a training incident.
Badenas, a rising star who competed within the RFME GasGas framework during the 2025 season in EMX125, was preparing to advance to the EMX250 class in 2026. This planned step underscored his significant potential and the confidence shown in him by the Spanish federation.

Today we share devastating news that has broken our hearts. Enzo Badenas, a 17-year-old rider from Valencia, suffered a serious training accident and has tragically passed away.
Enzo, who claimed the Spanish 85cc championship in 2022, was part of the national team and trained at the Specialized Centre for Motorsport Training at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo. He had a bright and lengthy career ahead, but today it has been cut far too short.
The Valencian and national motorcycling communities will remember him fondly not only as a rider but also as a person.
