Bucky Irving's Struggles: A Season to Remember (or Forget?)
A Season to Remember (or Forget?)
Bucky Irving's 2025 season has been a rollercoaster ride, to say the least. After a promising rookie year, many Bucs fans are left wondering if their beloved running back is ever going to be the same. But here's where it gets controversial... Is Bucky Irving getting a fair shake?
Last year, Bucky was electric, a force to be reckoned with on the field. But since suffering an injury against the Eagles, he's been a shell of his former self. His 2025 season from hell continued today, as he managed just 2.1 yards per carry. And let's be honest, he wasn't the only one struggling. If not for Baker Mayfield, the Bucs wouldn't have a run game at all.
Sure, Rachaad White and Sean Tucker averaged five and four yards per carry, respectively, but they barely touched the ball. It's like the Bucs' hot hand is more of a myth than a reality. And Bucky? Well, he hasn't been hot, or even close. More like a hot mess.
So, why is Bucky Irving getting so much heat? Is it fair to expect him to bounce back after such a devastating injury? Or is it time for the Bucs to look elsewhere for their running game?
