A bold reveal: Skybound Games and Quarter Up introduce Dupli-Kate as the newest fighter joining the Invincible VS roster, and a fresh gameplay trailer showcases her in action.
The roster reads like a love letter to the Invincible universe, featuring familiar faces such as Invincible, Atom Eve, Bulletproof, Thula, Rex Splode, Battle Beast, Omni-Man, Cecil Stedman, Robot, Monster Girl, Ella Mental, Lucan, Anissa, and Powerplex. The game, inspired by the Invincible comic book and animated series, is a 3v3 tag fighter that brings together many beloved characters for fast-paced, team-based battles. Quarter Up, Skybound’s development studio, is helming the project, tapping into experience from developers who helped shape the 2013 Killer Instinct.
New additions don’t end there. Invincible VS will offer both motion-based inputs and simpler inputs, a response to extensive fan feedback that aims to accommodate players of all styles. A dedicated Content Creator Mode has also been added, designed to suppress gore, violence, and blood so creators won’t risk demonetization on their platforms.
Fans can look forward to the launch on April 30 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Windows and Steam. Pre-orders come with the Zero Suit Mark skin and four extra color variants as bonuses.
